Project Cuffway 2016

The first annual Project Cuffway was a concept which combined two of Jill Donovan's two favorite things: fashion and packaging. The challenge was issued to Rustic Cuff fans: design fashions constructed completely out of Rustic Cuff packaging (boxes, bags, tissue paper, etc.) There were six unique categories consisting of everything from creatively stitched active and swimwear to intricately designed evening and wedding gowns to quilts and clothing for pets. There were a shocking 1,500 entries submitted!

On April 22nd at the Cox Center in Tulsa, Project Cuffway debuted with 1,000 attendees. One hundred and twenty five contestants were selected to walk the runway to display their unique designs that were judged by an accomplished panel of judges consisting of News on 6 anchor, Lori Fulbright; image consultant, Lisa K; Executive Producer, Kevin Anderson; Miss Oklahoma 2014, Alex Eppler; and Recording Artist, Brian Nhira. Grand Prize Winners were awarded $50,000 in prizes.

This first annual event was a huge success, earned media attention and at the end of the night, the Rustic Cuff community with some amazing local sponsors, raised over $130,000 for the National Pancreas Foundation, the event’s benefactor.
